My Father glories to send me, from the chamber of my devotion, into the depths of a fallen world where affliction and agony abounds.
It must never be said that He celebrates the adversities of His servants but that He rejoices in their divinely-assisted ability to overcome the kingdom of darkness; despite whatever marks of personal suffering they must wear.
He has qualified me, in His Son and by His Spirit, to follow Him into the perilous dark, burdened only with the weight of the fragrance of the crucifixion, the weightlessness of the resurrection and His every ‘yes‘ and ‘amen‘ promise.
This life and appointed path that has been fashioned for me by my Father is my joy. Though none walk with me, still I will follow Him.
